Dr. Rwituja Thomas is a highly skilled ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplasty, Orbit, and Ocular Oncology. She completed her MBBS from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, where she was recognized as the Best Outgoing Student and awarded the Best MBBS Student Award in 2013, achieving a commendable university rank in Ophthalmology.

She pursued her Residency and advanced Fellowship training in Orbit, Oculoplastics, and Ocular Oncology at the renowned Narayana Nethralaya Eye Institute, Bangalore.

Dr. Thomas has presented research papers at national and international conferences including the Asia Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (APACRS) and the World Congress of Ocular Trauma (WCOT). Her research work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology (IJO).

She is a recipient of the prestigious Bayer Grant under the Global Ophthalmology Awards Program in collaboration with the GROW Research Laboratory at Narayana Nethralaya.

With extensive expertise in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, she has received recognition at both state and national levels. She holds the esteemed Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (MRCS).
